In medium bowl, blend first 5 ingredients. Stir in nuts, cranberries and orange rind; pour into pie shell. Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between centre and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Tip: For easier handling bake on preheated cookie sheet EGGNOG GATEAU 1 pkg (510 g) white cake mix 1 1/4 cup (300 mL) water 1/3 cup (75 mL) oil 3 eggs 3 tsp (15 mL) imitation rum extract 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) nutmeg 1 tub (340 g) fluffy white whipped frosting cocoa, nutmeg and/or chocolate curls Preheat oven to 350°F (I80°C). Generously grease and flour two 9 -inch (1.5 L) round pans. Prepare and bake cake mix according to package instructions, adding 1 tsp (15 mL) each imitation rum extract and nutmeg to batter before baking. Stir remaining rum extract and nutmeg into frosting. Frost cakes as for layer cakes, according to instructions on inside of frosting label. Dust with nutmeg or cocoa, garnish with chocolate curls. CHOCOLATE -CHERRY CHIP LOAVES 1 pkg (510 g) German chocolate cake mix 1 pkg (510 g) cherry chip cake mix 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) water 2/3 cup (150 mL) vegetable oil 6 eggs 1 cup (250 mL) chocolate frosting glace cherries and/or chocolate curls Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Generously grease and flour two 9x5 -inch (2 L) loaf pans. Prepare cake mixes separately according to package instructions; set aside 1 cup (250 mL) of each batter separately. Spoon remaining chocolate batter into 1 pan and cherry batter into other pan. Top chocolate batter with reserved cherry batter and cherry batter with reserved chocolate batter.
