County Federation of Agriculture NEWSLETTER
Are you having trouble disposing used lubricating oils?
The Huron Federation of
Agriculture has researched the
recycling of used oils and has found
that most oil suppliers have storage
and/or recycling facilities. If you
need to dispose of used oil contact
your oil supplier to see if you can
drop the oil off at their location and if
there is a fee for this service.
If you have large amounts of oil
(600 litres or more) to dispose of,
there is
the oil
service
a company that will pick up
right at your farm. For this
call the Huron Federation
office at 519-482-9642 or 1-800-51)-
1135 for more information.
