Woodlot Expo and see

The Woodlot area of Canada's
Outdoor Farm Show is a
resource for experienced
silviculturalists and new woodlot
owners alike. This resource exists to
show landowners tried and true
methods of managing a woodlot
while balancing the needs of wildlife
habitats for the long term. Canada's
Outdoor Farm Show hosts the Farm
Woodlot Expo because many farmers
can benefit financially and
environmentally from managing their
woodlands and wetlands.
Woodlot Expo staff are preparing
two new exhibits. Guests will be able
to experience the power and
difficulties of skidding logs as well
as getting close to a helicopter spray
ship.
Responding to input from
previous Woodlot Expo attendees,
the Woodlot Expo will be featuring a
do-it-yourselfers' Equipment Boule-
vard, a collection of smaller pieces of
equipment from the larger equipment
dealerships spread through the show.
The boulevard will help woodlot
owners to locate expert advice and
technical information on the
equipment for those wanting to
master their new tools found
throughout the rest of the show. Six
to seven equipment dealerships are
