"No wonder lean is mcan in the
1990s," said Cliff.
"It's not just the pig business,"
said Wayne. "In the retail business
Whopper over there is WalMart.
They might be losing a ton of money
in that fancy new store of theirs for
all I know but I sure as heck know
they're not going to go out of
business because of it. Now the rest
of us, that's a different story."
"Whatever happened to the idea of
'live and let live'?" wondered George
McKenzie. "Whcn there's so much to
go around how come everything has
to be a fight to the death?"
"Because some people arcn't
happy until they have everybody -
else's money and their own too," said
Dave.
"Yeh, the other day I had to tell
the wife she was bringing up the kids
all wrong," said Cliff. "She had some
friends over and the kids were
playing and our youngest decided he
had to have all the toys. She was
embarrassed but I said it was good
training to help him survive in
today's world."
"If it's either be a wolf or a Iamb
you better be the wolf," said Dave.
"Especially with all the bleeding
hearts in Queen's Park who won't let
you protect the Iambs against the
wolves," said George.
"I mean they're so afraid we'll
hurt a wolf by letting us hire an
expert to snare them but has any of
them ever come out to sec what the
wolves do to the shcep."
"Or young calves," said George.
"I've had a few problems that way."
"I can't figure out how those city
people think," said Dave. "I mean
they love huntcrs like lions and tigers
and the eagle is magnificent to them.
They fight to protect the wolf and the
black bear, but then they turn around
and protest any human who kills
anything."
"That's only step one," said Cliff.
"Step two comes when they try to
convince the animals to become
vegetarians."0
