Jack and Marg Kroes have gone in the oppositie direction, deciding to finish their weaners. The trend has long been toward liquid manure, but the Kroeses decided they wanted to raise hogs on straw. The result is an interesting new barn. Without criticizing others, they have, Marg says, chosen a different road, one which they feel is the best for them.
