The Rural Voice, 1997-09, Page 51We've been advertising in the Rural Voice since we started in 1985 . — Brad Marsden, Al•Mar Grain, Exeter In 1985 when AI•Mar Grain was founded by Brad Marsden, Cliff Marsden and Ross Alexander, they started by offering GSI grain equipment sales and service to the farming community. GSI is the largest producer of grain equipment in the world and manufactures grain bins, feed bins and dryers. Most of Al•Mar's customers are large farmers or commercial elevators. At the present time they are working on seed bean storage tanks for Hensall Co-op. Although most of their jobs are large, all sales, no matter what the size, are important to the company. Al•Mar Grain has increased its sales and service of GSI to become one of the top 10 dealers in North America. Over the years Al•Mar has taken on additional lines and products including: Kongskilde grain blowers and cleaners, RAD bucket elevators and maintenance - free Heritage Vinyl Products. Heritage produces vinyl fence, deck, railings and specialty items like picnic tables and arbours. Twenty-five employees now provide sales and service for all the lines that Al•Mar carries. luRni, Void THE MAGAZINE OF THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY Getting your message across September 1997 47
