The best furnace
heats and cools
AMAMIThere's no mystery about it. The WaterFumace
geothermal heating, cooling and hot water system
— the most efficient heating and cooling system in
the world — can do it all with one piece of
equipment. A WaterFumace Premier system
will make your home comfortably warm in winter,
keep it refreshingly cool in summer, make hot water on the side, and save
money to boot. In fact, a WaterFurnace geothermal system will cut heating
bills by more than half, compared with propane or fuel oil.
That makes the Premier Series the best geothermal heating and cooling
system you can buy.
To find out how one of the WaterFumace systems will keep you cool — or
warm — in.your existing home, contact your local Authorized WaterFumace
Dealer.
...and does both for less!

Grain Markets
weakened slightly for spot beans as one
crusher has bought all of its December
requirements. However, there is good
carry in the market for sales in the
winter months and, if you are looking
to move some of your production, you
might look at locking in the basis.
Currently, the elevator basis is $1.20
over January futures and as with corn,
producers should look at selling some
new crop 1995 production in the
$7/bushel arca.
FEEDGRAINS
Western feed grain prices are so
high right now, it appears unlikely that
corn will be challenged in most feed
formulations in the foreseeable future.
Feed wheat prices exploded to $160
while western barley is selling for $135
to $140.
There has been too little Ontario bar-
ley or mixed grain traded to establish
prices. My best guess puts Ontario
barley in the $120 to $125 range and
mixed grain at about $115/mt.
If this- were the 1980s, this year's
corn and soybean production would
give us less than $5 for soys and $2 for
corn. But this is the 90s. The world
