The Bruce County Federation of Agriculture (BCFA) is proud to present "A Record of Achievement, Bruce County's Leadership in Farm Organizations". This is the eagerly awaited history of farm organizations and Brcc County farm leaders, researched and written by Jim Powers of Chepstow. BCFA is releasing the book to the public at its Annual Meeting on November 5, at the Chesley Community Centre. The book launching celebration will begin at 9:00 p.m. following the banquet and annual meeting. BCFA has planned a fun evening of entertainment and presentations by a variety of guests. The celebration is open to the public and is free of charge. Jim Powers has prepared a comprehensive account of farm organizations in Bruce County, the people involved and their role in the provincial farm scene. The author has included many anecdotes and personal reminiscences from his own A Record of Achievement involvement in many of the organizations for most of the past 50 years.
