With a background in the dairy, feed and turkey processing industries, he had insights into the food industry. He is a former president and CEO of Norbest, a 200 - million per year Turkey Meat Marketing Co-operative in Utah. arl Braeker said the Market Grey -Bruce committee has to meet to plan where it goes from here but "I'd be very disappointed if we didn't initially involve new people." Many of the conference participants not only signed and handed in their evaluation forms at the end of the conference, but volunteered to become involved in various committees. "We've got to involve the rest of the community. It's impossible for Market Grey -Bruce to do everything." Once new people become involved, Braeker said, his committee needs to go out and catalogue everything that is available in the two counties and in what quantitities so it can help match sellers with buyers. Braeker says Market Grey -Bruce must find ways to work with other groups, either fitting its objectives in with the other groups, or pulling those groups in to work with the new group. "I couldn't care less who does it as long as it gets done," he said. With its first conference, Market Grey -Bruce seems to have proved that it can get it done.0
