The Rural Voice, 1993-12, Page 7Feedback Board once again discussed the recommendation and after a thorough airing of views, voted to remove the exemption of check -off for breeding stock. The decision was not an abuse of power and is not designed to take money from producers. It was a responsible decision made after thorough consultation, to remove a loophole through which drovers and others were avoiding a legal require- ment to submit checkoff.
