The 1993 International Plowing Match kicked
off under cloudy, but dry skies and Walkerton
became the centre of the universe for
agriculture in Ontario. At left, a competitor in
the horse -powered plowing competition
finished a furrow. Above, Bruce County
produce was on display at the Farmers'
