Membership drive begins March 1 Perth and Huron Counties will again this year be having a membership drive the first two weeks in March. Between March 1 and 12 we hope to visit as many potential members as possible. Last year's drive proved very successful with over 300 new members joining in the two counties. We are hoping that this year's drive will be successful as well. If you arc interested in helping with the membership drive please contact a director or call the office. SOME; INTERESTING INFORMATION In Perth County we have 2894 Be An Achiever Join OFA Membership March March 1-15 census farms. Gross receipts from these farms arc over S366 million. Revenue returned to the county, Be Independent But Don't Stand Alone OFA Membership March March 1-15 expenditures for wages, repairs, feed purchases, etc. total over $293 million. (Research indicates that most of this money is utilized within the community). Farm capital invested in Perth County is nearly 51.5 billion.
