Mario Robert Joseph Levesque of Lucan was another big winner, taking home the UCO Award as top academic student in agricultural business management, the Ontario Institute of Agrologists Award, Western Ontario Branch, for proficiency in farm analysis, the Farm Credit Corporation Award for proficiency in farm business and financial management and the Canadian Agri -Marketing Association Award for proficiency in agricultural marketing and salesmanship. Grand Bend's Joanna B. Richardson won the Middlesex County Women's Institute Award for highest proficiency in the Foods Technology Program, the Garland Commercial Ranges Award for proficiency in food services administration, and the South Huron Women's Institute Award for general proficiency in consumerism and food services. Campers will participate in: computer workshops, public speaking, agriculture seminars, games and activities, etc. AgVenture Location: Centralia College campus, Huron Park Dates: July 6 - 10/92 sr July 13-17/92 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day Cost: $75.00 + GST ($80.25) Here's a day camp for 9 - 11 year olds (as of July 1/92) where they can learn about food and agriculture while making friends and having fun. Campers participate in: computer workshops, swimming each day, tours, crafts, outdoor/nature study, creative experiments, etc. Fun with Food and Computers Location: Centralia College campus, Huron Park Date: August 10 - 14/92 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day Cost: $80.00 + GST ($85.60) For junior cooks and computer enthusiasts (ages 11 - 14 as of July 1/92), this day camp promises good eating and fun. Food themes include yeast bread, stir -frying and homemade ice cream. Computer training covers operation and use of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
