CLEVIS HITCH
Yetter's 6600 Series coulter carts
now feature a new, improved adjustable
clevis hitch that matches the implement
to the tractor drawbar height.
The new hitch also compensates for
variations in tractor tire size and is de-
signed to provide better weight transfer
for additional down pressure when us-
ing the coulter cart in difficult field
conditions. Updates are also available
for retrofitting coulter carts in the field.

NEW HERBICIDE
INTRODUCED
Canadian growers will have an alter-
native to Roundup in the form of a new
Touchdown herbicide.
Development work on the glypho-
sate tritnesium-based herbicide, devel-
oped by ICI Chipman, has been com-
pleted and a registration submission is
currently under review by Agriculture
Canada.
ICI Chipman acquired the technol-
ogy for Touchdown in 1987 with the
purchase of the Stauffer business.
