sponse to their handmade rubber door-
mats, Richard and Helen Weirmeir of
Elmwood, Ontario are offering their
product to a wider market.
The doormats, made from recycled
tires, trap sand, dirt, and snow. The mats
can simply be shaken and the dirt swept
up outside the door.
Not only do the mats last a lifetime,
but they are self cleaning and environ-
mentally friendly. They are available m

HYLAND OFFERS
NEW VARIETIES
Hyland Seeds, a division of W. G.
Thompson & Sons Limited, has intro-
duced six corn hybrids, three soybean
varieties, and two seed -barley varieties
this spring.
The seed corn hybrids range in ma-
turity from 2575 to 3200 heat units.
The soybeans varieties are Talon,
rated at 2900 heat units, Magic, rated at
3100 heat units, and Dominator, rated at
3200 heat units.
The spring barley varieties are
Craig, a rough -owned two -row variety,
and Etienne, a smooth -owned six -row
