Exhibits and programming geared towards women in agriculture is the focus of the Women in Ag Expo. Planning is still underway, but exhibits will showcase products and services that help to inform and educate women and their families living in rural communities. The Federated Women's Institute of Ontario's ROSE (Rural Ontario Sharing Education) Program is on board and will manage the programming for the Expo, which will include seminars or workshops on important health and social issues. "The ROSE Program is about awareness, education, support and action," says Patty Pizziola, ROSE program manager. "We are excited to offer women at Canada's Outdoor Farm Show vital information that will help build strong families and vibrant communities." Anew program will be featured every hour, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm each day of the Show. Exhibits and programming will take place at the former Farm Family Greenhouse on 2nd and 3rd Lane S.M. Women in agriculture raise livestock, crops and families. They also help to raise awareness of critical issues that affect the agriculture industry and rural communities. Show visitors can join representatives from the Farmers Feed Cities! campaign for an interactive session to share best practices in community networking at 11:30 and 1:30 daily at the Women in Ag Expo.
