Many leading ATV/utility vehicle companies will be represented, all offering test-driving on a shared track or at their own on-site track. Visitors who qualify with the manufacturer can experience first-hand how the machine operates and compare it to other vehicles. "Where else can a serious buyer test different models of ATVs or utility vehicles all in one place in one day?" says Paul Roper, the show's sales manager. "We have improved our test track to offer drivers a safe, exciting track to test vehicle performance and handling." The ATV/Utility Vehicle Test Track will be managed by the Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicles (OFATV), and it's bigger and better than ever. The professionally designed dirt track has been redesigned with a new layout and will now include off -set moguls, a 40 -ft. mud hole, hills, a straight- away and six aggressive whoopdeedoos. It will be located at 6th Lane S.M. To date, Suzuki and Arctic Cat will be participating in the shared Test Track, with Kubota, Kawasaki, John Deere, DFK and Caterpillar having ride and drives of either ATVs or utility vehicles on their own sites. ATVs and utility vehicles are now commonplace on the farm and are used for a wide variety of purposes in the field and woodlot. For those visitors with woodlots that are interested in learning more about maximizing returns from this valuable resource, the Show features a Woodlot Expo with portable saw mills, chainsaw, wood splitter and processor demos and the latest equipment. Crop producers can discover the latest in seed, soil and crop technology through demonstration plots and exhibits. A unique feature of the Show is the Seed and Crop Input Plots, where producers can have a close-up view of the crops and (earn about the uses and benefits of the products from company representatives and crop specialists.
