PERTH PUTS ON A SHOW
Perth County made the most of its opportunity when it hosted the 2005 International
Plowing Match outside Listowel, September 20-24.

100,000 filed through the gate of the
90 -acre tented city, held on the farms
of David Carson and family.
The Ontario Federation of Agriculture demonstrated good
farm practices at its Envirofarm display (below left). Kids
The 1,500 volunteers on 30
committees kept things running
smoothly despite the large crowds
that were attracted by the generally
sunny weather.
Special attractions this year
enjoyed the pigs at Ontario Pork's Pig Mobile (below,
right).
