Risk Management Program - Farmers feed cities campaign
A Targe number of Perth and
Huron farmers attended the Grains
and Oilseed meeting in Seaforth on
July 12 to hear about the proposed
Risk Management Program (RMP).
It is important for all farmers to
become involved in the Farmers Feed
Cities Post Card Campaign. aimed at
the Premier to support the RMP. We
need you to become involved. At the
very least pick up. sign and send, one
of the postcards. Get your farm's
suppliers involved by distributing the
postcards at their business. Get the
postcards to your suppliers. friends,

ENVIRONMENTAL FARM PLAN
WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED
Completion of an Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) will make you eligible
for the Environmental Cost -Share Opportunities for Ontario farmers.
You also need to have an EFP completed and deemed appropriate to
qualify for funding for the Nutrient Management Financial Assistance
Program.
Completion of an EFP requires a one -and -one-half day workshop.
Workshops are planned for:
• September 29/October 6 — Rostock
• October 19/October 25 — Milverton
• November 10/November 15 — Rostock
• November 30/December 8 — Milverton
