Attendance at this year's meeting was outstanding, showing the concern that there is in the agriculture field today. Sixty commodity representatives, municipal representa- tives, Huron County Federation of Ag Board members and other invited guests attended. This year, diverting from our usual custom the 64 THE RURAL VOICE Federation invited a member from each agri-business that donated toward the rally fund. This proved to be very successful, as eight of the groups had someone in attendance. The discussions were very lively and informative consjsting of oil - grain seed prices, BSE and border closing, CAIS, food prices/labelling, dead animal pick-up, supply management and safety net programs. We thank both Carol and Paul for attending this meeting.0 The March 2 rally at Queen's Park caused some strange sights, like tractors rolling past Bloor Street's fashion shops (left). Farmers tried to get their message across (right).
