In addition, ultrasound equipment will be included in the demonstrations. To promote biosecurity, the Swine Demo will be housed in a portable, fabric building, separate from the main Swine Pavilion. Producers will, at their own option, choose to view all or part of the Swine Expo exhibits. Hand -wash stations will be conveniently located at the site. All pigs in the Swine Demo will be from high health herds and all animals will be blood -tested before arrival at the show to ensure they provide minimum disease risk. All hogs will be at market weight and will be sent direct to slaughter at the completion of the show. The many manufacturers and suppliers that service the multi- million dollar pork industry will set up shop for three days to network with producers and other industry representatives.
