children are allowed online, for how
long, and what activities can be done
online. Post these rules next to the
computer for,easy reference.
Teach your children to not share
their password with anyone and to
never give out their real name,
address (even just city or town), age,
school, phone number, or other
personal information.
Your children should check
with a parent before signing
up for anything online and
before entering chat rooms just to be
sure it's an appropriate place.
Your children should never send a
photograph of themselves to
someone unless they've been given
permission to by a parent.
Tell your child to never agree to
meeting someone in person that they
met online without your permission
and to never meet anyone without a
