unnecessary if the information given
to appellants prior to the hearing
would contain the following advice
for laypersons that are appearing
before the Board without legal
representation.
I) If there is the possibility of an
appeal you have to bring your own
CERTIFIED court reporter.
2) If you are presenting other than
oral evidence DEMAND that
everything be entered as an exhibit.
To be sure you cover all aspects,
you can get the "Rules of Practise
and Procedure" on the Internet on the
Ontario Government site under the
Attorney General's section. This
booklet gives you all the rules that
apply to the Assessment Review
Board. Those rules are made under
section 25.1 of the "Statutory Powers
Procedures Act".
