The farmer and retired elementary teacher is working closely with members of both the Ilderton-based Tri -County Heritage Club and St. Thomas -based Kettle Creek Pioneers. Planned is a display showing the evolution of tractors over the past century. Represented will be at least one model from each decade. Equipment used over the years for working the land and planting will be accessible. Secondary tillage equipment will actually be pulled through the soil prior to the match so that visitors can better understand the purpose of each piece. There'll be a variety of threshing demonstrations. Both tractor and steam engines will be used as the power source.
