Reavie, who runs a farm equipment dealership near Lucknow, showed his farming experience in the competition. The VIPs were supplied with a tractor and plow (no word if Reavie's was a New Holland, the brand he sells) and instructed to start a furrow in a specific place, plow in a straight line to the correct depth and then stop plowing at a specific place.0 Stuart Taylor dies at age 90 Legendary blacksmith and folk artist Stuart Taylor of Nile, south of Lucknow, died September 6 at age 90. Born in Wiarton, Taylor ran a blacksmith and machinery repair shop from 1944 until it burned in 1991. Friends rallied to raise money to build a new shop so he could continue his work. Though smithing was his trade, he became widely known for his hand -carved folk art — from soaring eagles to tiny carvings of turtles to totem poles to wood- peckers and roosters. He continued to carve until near the very end. He was also a clockmaker, taxidermist and, friends recall, an excellent storyteller. His interests included nature and native history. He carved a bust of Tecumseh and a figure of Pauline Johnston. He had a passion for learning and was an avid reader with books on every -thing from Tecumseh to wild plants and birds, to the fur trade to a well-worn Bible.0
