The worst thing for me is those car
seats. Yes I understand and agree that
they are safer for children than the
"old" way. We hooked a plastic
bucket seat between us in the front
seat for the infant and let the rest of
them wrestle in the back seat.
For me, changes such as this are
plain hard work. You get ready to go
somewhere and by the time you
attach two of those seats, the proper
way mind you, and squash balky kids
into it with the restraining buckle
right under their chin, you wish you'd
never mentioned going anywhere.
That's only half the work because
when you reach your destination
there is that tricky collapsible buggy
lurking in the trunk just waiting to
attack.
This isn't all ... now I always
check to see if the town I'm going to
is still there. You never know
nowadays ... someone might have
changed it.0
