"Woodlot Expo features equipment that is both affordable and useful to the farmer with a woodlot." A partnership with the Ontario Stewardship Program, and the 45 local stewardship councils across the province, will result in a series of new demonstrations to promote sustainable forestry. A people -mover tour of the University of Guelph's farm woodlot (on the Outdoor Farm Show site) will highlight management practices of a saw log and firewood operation. Back at the Woodlot Expo tent, carvers will be displaying their skills — and keep an eye out for the young woodsmen cutting, chopping and sawing their way to victory in the woodsman's competition. Farm women from across Ontario are encouraged to bring a stone from their home farms when they come to the show. Each contribution of granite, sandstone, apatite, etc will become part of a cairn that will
