The blade anchors the unit to
the ground preventing the
tractor from slipping backward
and takes the strain off the
tractor. The cable is easy to
pull out as the winch drum
free wheels easily.
The winch is operated
with a control rope from a
safe position on either
side of the unit.
The 3 -point linkage is
raised so the logs are 1-2
feet off the ground and the
logs are skidded to the
landing.
