Conservation Funding Sources Seminar set for Mitchell

This is- a workshop with speakers
providing ideas and information
regarding funding sources for
conservation measures on your
property.
Many programs exist and others
are about to commence which offer
financial and technical support to
farmers to implement Best
Management Practices.
Ducks Unlimited Canada, through
its Soil and Water Improvement
Planned Enhancement Program
(SWIPE) has initiated a series of
seminars across the province to
inform rural landowners of local
conservation programs. The Perth
County Federation of Agriculture is
co-operating to bring this seminar to
the Perth Region.

conservation projects.

successes with a constructed wetland
on his Mitchell area dairy farm.
An informal mixer to allow you to
discuss conservation projects and
measures with speakers will follow
the presentations. There is no cost.
