show their latest technologies in
liquid manure application, such as
injection technology.
The growing importance of the
sheep and goat industry is
demonstrated by the appearance for
the first time, of a pavilion
containing exhibits from industry and
equipment manufacturers, as well as
live demonstrations, as part of the

produced in Ontario.
The dairy goat industry in Ontario
has increased more than 300 per cent
in the past decade. It's estimated that
8-10 million litres of goat milk is
produced in Ontario each year. As
weli, the number of meat goats is
predicted to increase by 330 per cent
in the next five years. Worldwide,
seven times more goat meat is
consumed than beef.
"Canada's Outdoor Farm Show is
looking forward to bringing new

commercial sheep and goat producers
this year," says Underhill. "They are
both growing industries and the
Sheep and Goat Expo will be an
excellent learning and sharing
opportunity."
A range of . live animal
demonstrations using sheep and goats
are planned. A 10:30 a.m., 12:30
p.m. and 2:30 p.m. daily, there will
