The Citizen, 1989-10-18, Page 24Obituaries JERRY CARDIFF Jerry Cardiff of 363 Gem Avenue in Petrolia died at C.E.E. Hospital on October 8, 1989. He was 53 years of age. Mr. Cardiff was the son of the late Albert and Florence (Bremner) Cardiff. He is survived by his wife Barb Patterson. Also left to mourn him are his children Mrs. Herman (Wendy) Sipkens of Sarnia; Steven and his fiancee Julia Robinson of Mississauga and grandchildren, Tara, Justine, and Heather. Mr. Cardiff is also survived by his brothers, Jack and Jim of Brussels and his sisters, Mrs. George (Isa- bell) Pearson of Ethel and Mrs. Bob (Jean) Wolfe of Vernon B.C. He is remembered by his mother- in-law Mrs. Feme Patterson of Clinton. Visitors were received at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home in Petrolia where a private service was held on October 11. Interment followed at Hillsdale Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the C.E.E. hospital fund or the Canadian Cancer Society. MRS. HAZEL PROCTER Mrs. Hazel Procter passed away at Callander Nursing Home in Brussels on Sunday, October 8, 1989 in her 87th year. Formerly of Belgrave, Mrs. Proc­ ter was the beloved wife of the late J. Cecil Procter. She was also predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkinson and one sister Mrs. Hattie Beyers of Detroit. Left to mourn her passing are two brothers, Howard Wilkinson of RR 5, Brussels and Elmer Wilkin­ son of Lucknow. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11 at McBurney Funeral Home in Wingham with Rev. Peter D. Tucker officiating. Interment fol­ lowed at Brandon Cemetery in Belgrave. BRUCE EDGAR Bruce Edgar passed away sud­ denly on Friday, October 6, 1989 in London. He was in his 53rd year. Mr. Edgar is survived by his children, Debbie Ruston and Mar- cie McKinley, both of Stratford and his grandchildren Amy and Jeffrey Ruston, and Sara and Amber McKinley. He is the beloved son of Mrs. Winnifred Edgar of Brussels and the late Murdie Edgar. Also left to mourn his passing are three brothers, John of Georgetown, Don of Shallow Lake and Jim of Lis­ towel, four nieces, six nephews, two great-nephews and one great­ niece. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 10 at 11 a.m. at Betts Funeral Home in Brussels. ELIZABETH A. GARRISON Elizabeth A. Garrison formerly of Blyth passed away at Huronview on October 12, 1989. She was bom in Hullett township 90 years ago, the daughter of the late Walter Cunningham and the former Hannah Riddell. She was a member of Auburn United Church. She was predeceased by two husbands, Elwin Moss and Freder­ ick Loosemore. She is survived by three sons: Horace Moss, Wyan- dott, Michigan; Jack and Ina Loosemore, Nepean, Ont. and Fred and Doreen Loosemore, London.
