The president is Sandra Deveau; vice president, Kim Ferguson; secretary, Marie Cronyn; press reporter, Jill Jenkins. The next meeting will be held on October 11 at 7 p.m. at Kim Ferguson’s house. Next, members said the 4H pledge, went over meeting one, and had a little game with cereals. They also had a survey on foods they like and found out what kinds of snacks are good for them. They made an egg McMuffin. They cooked it and thanked Maridale for the use of her home for the meeting. NOG 1H0 The Blyth Swinging Seniors met in the Community Hall for a pot luck dinner on September 27 at 12 noon. After a sumptuous dinner a sing-song was led by Vera Badley with Ella Richmond at the piano. Five people had September birth­ days and Happy Birthday was sung for these people. John Hesselwood, president, presided over the business meeting and as usual entertained all with a humorous joke. The Zone 8 Rally will be held in Blyth on October 18 and will be co-hosted by Auburn and Blyth. Each society will appoint a commit­ tee of three to help make the necessary arrangements. The meeting was opened with the 4H pledge. The members picked the name “Tasty News’’ for the club, then started cooking. Three types of macaroni and cheese were cooked and tast­ ed.
