A former resident of the town of Wingham, and more recently a resident of Brucelea Haven, Walk­ erton, Mrs. Lilliam Newman pass­ ed away suddenly Monday, July 17, 1989 at the County of Bruce General Hospital, Walkerton in her 85th year. She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1954, also three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by one sister Gladys (Mrs. Robert Leggate), four sons, Don Doug, Bill and Rick, three daugh­ ters, Barbara (Mrs. George Tervit), Business and_______ Professional Directory Marilyn (Mrs. Don McDonald), and Betty (Mrs. John Gill). Funeral service was conducted on Thursday, July 20, 1989 at two o’clock at the McBurney Funeral Home by Rev. Bonnie Lamble. Interment followed in Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. Pallbearers were six grandsons, Ross Newman, Les Tervit, Bruce McDonald, Robert Newman, Scott Newman and Tim Newman with honorary pallbearers being four more grandsons, Ron Tervit, Michael Gill, Jim McDonald and Rick Newman. Floral tributes were carried by three granddaughters Judy Valley, Peg Cameron and Jeanne Dionne. FBOB seeks young entrepeneurs For the second consecutive year the Federal Business Development Bank (FBDB) is seeking nominees for its annual “Young Entrepre­ neur” Awards. Established last year, the awards, ter be presented during Small Business Week October 22 - 28, recognize the achievements of entrepreneurs aged 29 years or younger.
