PAGE 21. Knowing the future sermon topic Rev. Dave Snihur conducted the morning service at Knox United Church and Mrs. Gordon Gross was organist. The hymns “Holy, Holy, Holy’’ was followed by the call to worship read alternately. “Come 0 Thou God of Grace’’ was sung. Rev. Snihur gave the Prayer of Approach, followed by the Lord’s Prayer in unison. Mrs. Cheryl Cronin of Blyth sang a solo accompanied by Mrs. Gordon Gross at the piano. The children’s song was “I will enter his gates”, followed by their story. Rev. Snihur read scripture from Deuteronomy and Isaiah. “In the Garden” was sung and the prayer chorus “Turn Auburn Compiled by Mrs. Mildred Lawlor. Phone 526-7589 Guest speaks on waste management your eyes upon Jesus” was sung. Rev. Snihur’s sermon was entitled “How can I know the future”. While the offering was received by Gordon Gross and Lawrence Plaet- zer. Mrs. Cronin sang a solo followed by dedication of the offering and the offeratory re­ sponse, “We give Thee but Thine own”. The hymn, “I don’t know about tomorrow” ended the ser­ vice. Next Sunday members of the Rebecca’s Lodge, Clinton will be at the service and also the young people will graduate from their Sunday School classes. After sup­ per Kids Club meeting for a special baseball game and sundae making with the Boy’s Club of Londesboro. There will be a community shower for Lori Millian at Knox United Church on June 19 at 8 p.m. Please bring lunch. The Horticulture Society will hold their meeting on Wednesday, June 14 at 8 p.m. The speaker will be JoAnne Richter who will speak on waste management. Knox United Church Sunday School picnic will be held at the Park on June 18. Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lawlor were Florence Steckley and Allan Weber of RR 5, Stratford.
