Brussels Legion hosts
snooker tournament
On Saturday, Feb. 11 the first
snooker tournament was held at the
Brussels Legion. Winners of the
day went to Elmer Murray, Londes-
borough, first; Jim Dickson, Blyth,
second; Barrie Currie, Brussels,
third; and Howard Grealis, Clinton,
fourth.
Saturday, Feb. 18 was euchre
night with five tables playing. High
lady was Sandra Josling, high man
was Ken Josling, low lady saw a
three way tie with Kitty and Doreen
Rutledge and Verna Tunney. Low
man was Bill Litrle. Most lone
hands went to Ken Josling. The
next euchre night will be Saturday,
March 4 at 8 p.m. On Saturday,
Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. the Legion will be
having a mixed darts evening with
everyone welcome.
