If you have anything to do with the exchange rates, make sure that the one your place of business is offering is a fair one. One of the worst things you can do is give these foreign tourists the feeling that they are being taken for a proverbial ride. Don’t even think about what they might do to you in their country; we cannot afford the luxury of being vindictive. It is not difficult to go on with suggestions but I think that you have got the point by this time. One last thought. If things get bad in our balance of payments, the government has the right to impose what are called currency controls. This means, in effect, that you can go anywhere you want in the world just as long as you don’t take more than, say, $100 with you. Think about that for a minute!
