I. very pretty wedding took place
in Teeswater United Church on
Saturday, December filth at two
o'clock, when Mstry Patricia Kath-
leen Ballagh of 'Waterloo. became
the bride of fcarl Maier of Kitchen-
er. The bride is the eldest daugh-
ter of Mr. and -Mrs. James Ballagh
of Teeswater. The groom is the
only son of Mr. and ],firs. Josef
Maier of Kitchener.
The Rev. Peter Renner er officiated
at the douiale- ring ceremony, in a
setting of mums and snapdragons.
Mrs, Bruce. Keith was organist
and Miss. Lavonne Ballagle cousin
of the bride, sang "The Wedding
Prayer'' and "Together".
The bride, who was given in mar-
riage by her father, was attractive
in a floor -length gown of silk or-
ganza over satin with a fitted bo-
dice and long lily -point sleeves
and beaded sabrina neckline. A
crystal crown with pearl drops
held the bride's elbow -length veil.
She carried pink and white roses
with white stephanotis.
Grace Sullivan of Kitchener was
maid of honor. BrIclesmaids were
Shirley Ballagh, sister of the bride
aid Carol Helrnpel of IitiiteiZcner.

the bride, and Norbert Winsterstein
of Kitchener.
Following the ceremony a recep-
tion was held in the church parlors,
where dinner was served to About

in a jewel green brocaded satin
dress with beige accessories and a
corsage of yellow mums The :mo -
tiler of the groom received in a
black dress with white accessories
and, a white corsage.

roses. The couple will live at 1688
