RECEIVES INJURY
FORDVVICH---Miss Audrey Rut-
tan had the misfoitune on Satur-
day night to get her hand caught
in the ear door. She was taken to
Listowel Hospital where Dr. Wil-
liam Munn attended her and found
one finger to be broken and the
other one badly bruised.
A cast was put on and Audrey
was able to return home.

the home of Annie Winkel , when
the meeting opcnend with "The
Queen", Lord's prayer, Purpose and.
Answer and 30 girls answered the
roll call.
• The worship service was taken by
Peggy Gibson and Janie - Humbly.

The CGIT vesper service will be
held on Sunday night, December 10,
at 8, in the United 'Church, Ford-
wich, The next tnecling will be a
pot luck supper at • the home of
Miss Phyllis Wilson, which will be
a Christmas party and each girl. to
bring a gift.
The study was given by Doris
Carswell. Lunch was served by
Helen Johnston, Marjorie Ruttan
and Ruth 'Anne Taylor. The meet-
ing closed with "Taps".

CrORRIE---Miss Janette Pyle of
Toronto, became the bride of
Cialide Joseph Hall of Tracadie,
N.B„ on. Saturday at 10 a.m. in St.
Basil's Church, St. Joseph St., To,
ronto, which was decorated with
white mums. A double-ring cere-
mony was held with Rev. R. B.
Current officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs, Clifford Pyite, /Lft, 2,
Gerrie, and the greom is the son
Of Mr. Frank Hail, Tracadie, and
the late Mrs, Hall.
Given in marriage by her father,
the isrlde wore a waltz-length. gown
of White nylon lace fashioned with
round neckline, short sleeves, high
Waistline with pleated satin cunt-
merbund and net stole. The very
full skirt was in lace tiers, Her
flower headdress held the should-
er-length veil of silk illusion net.
She wore elbow-length lace gloves
and her •bouquet was of red roses
and fern.
Miss Shirley Casemore of Wing-
ham was bridesmaid, and chose a
waltz-length dress of cornflower
blue nylon lace fashioned on simi-
lar lines to the dress of the bride,
She carried white mums and fern.
James Hall, Toronto, •brother of
the groom, was best man.
Following a dinner at the Town
and Country Club, Toronto, the
couple left on a wedding trip •to
Windsor. The bride donned a pink
wool suit, topped with a fur jacket
and black accessories.
Guests were present from Wind-
sor, Tracadie, N.B„ and Gorrie.
They will reside in Toronto.
The bride and groom were both
presented with gifts by their co-
workers prior to their marriage.

Rogers will be sorry to learn she is
at present confined to St. Joseph's
Hospital in Guelph, where she will
undergo surgery in the near future.
The sympathy of the community
goes to Mr. Arthur Forster and
daughter in the loss of a wife and
mother.

and a treat for our shut-ins. The
441 girls will be present to exhibit
the sewing they have done in their
club work. All are invited to attend.
