The hall was tastefully decorated with, gold and white streamers and bells, and bouquets of bronze and yellow mums. The bride's table was graced with a three-tiered white and gold an- niversary cake, flanked by golden mums, es and bouquets of yellow Mr. and Mrs. Webber were mar- ried on October 25th, 1911, at the ; home of the bride's parents by the Rev. A. A. Fortner, of Clifford. Mr. Webebr is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Webber, of the 17th of Howick, and Mr. and Mrs. Webber have resided at this address for their entire married life, Mrs. Webber is the former Ella Cook, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Cook, of Lakelet, Bridesmaid was a sister of the bride, Miss Myrtle Cook, of Lake- let, and the best man was Mr. Ern- est Cook, of Grand Bend, Mr. and Mrs. Webber have one son, Donald, of Lakelet, six grand-' children and six great grandchild- ren. Following the dinner a nephew of the bride and groom of 50 years ago, Dr.. W. J. Pritchard, of Leam- ington, sang a solo "Put on Your Old Gray Bonnet." On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Webber held open house and received many well-wishes, congratulations, and lovely gifts. The discussion was "Friuts Go Festive"-the art of garnishing fruit specialities, table arrangements and cheese tray suggestions. Mrs. Geo,1 Richards showed the girls various table centers using fruits and flow- ers. Various types of cheese were' sampled. Jean Siefert demonstrated how to make frosted grapes which were enjoyed by the group. Fruit drinks were also made and the girls en- joyed grape sparkle. They are to prepare for Achievement Day on Saturday, November 18th. The minutes of the September meeting were read and adopted and Mrs, Mulvey closed the meeting with prayer.
