Edwarde Wormworth A good turnout of men was on patale at the Wingham Armouries when Sergeant - Major Blackwell formed up the men of the 99th to be inspected. Lieutenant D. Je.rdin„ the inspecting officer, complimented the men on the turnout and neat appearance, Following the inspec- tion the men fell out to their var., RAN duties. This parade saw the initiation of the recruit training for '01-'02. The recruits were given fundamental toot drill and were briefed on the FN rifle in use with Militia groups. The drivers were kept,hard at Work as they are trying to reconstruct on old car left from former years in the mechanics' shed.
