Centre at Rivers, Manitoba. AB Campbell is the son of Mrs. Hazel
Campbell, ,of Wingham, Ontario. He is already a 'flying member of
the Halifax Plying Club and voluntarily took the parachute course
for experience. On being interviewed he stated that he thought the
course was '`wolulerful'' and that he would take all the courses lie
could get. AB Campbell said he was interested in operations and sports
in ail their elements. He is presently on HMCS Bonaventure,

The final meeting of the Blyth-
Belgrave 4-H Beef Calf .Club was
held at the farm of Edgar Wight-
man recently with 10 members pre-
sent.
A class of Shorthorn yearling hei-
fers was judged and oral reasons
given by the members. John Mc-
Taggert, summer asst. agricultural
representative, gave a talk on
marketing animals and showed
some of the different cuts of beef.

GORRIE—Miss Nancy Newton,
who has been with the Gorrie
branch of the Toronto-Dominion
Bank for four and a half years, is
being transferred to a London
branch.
Alexander Graham, manager, and

at a turkey dinner on Wednesday
evening, when Miss Newton was
presented with a pen and pencil
set by Mr. Graham.

To Attend Funeral
In Vancouver, B.C.
WHITECHURCH—Mr. and Mrs.'
Frank Coulter received word on
Tuesday of the sudden passing of
their younger son, Chester, who suf-
fered a heart attack at his work
with the CPR trucks in Vancouver.
Chester and his wife, the former
Dorothy Webb, of St. Helens, left
here about fifteen years ago and
for years Chester drove the trans-
Canada truck. They have four
children, Also surviving are his
parents, one sister, Isabel, (Mrs. H.
D. McDonald) of Whitechurch, and
one brother, Alex, of East Wawa-
nosh,
