funeral of the late Robert Watson,
held on Friday in. Brucefield Unit..
ed. Church.
Mr. Watson passed away in Sea-
forth. Hospital, after a lengthy ill-
ness. His wife predeceased him
last September. He leaves one son,
Robert, of London, and two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Gilbert (Margaret) Bee-
croft and Miss Janet of Ayliner,
and four grandchildren.
Interment was in Bayfield ceme-
tery. Rev, Mr. Hiltz of Exeter and.
• Rev. Mr. Johnston of Brucefield
Move to Wingham
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mead and
three sons, Gordon, Earl and Ken-
neth, have moved from Rilisburg
and taken up residence in the
Loder house.
Mr. Mead purchased Hamilton
Beverages last month and the firm
is now known as Mead Beverages.
Gordon and Earl will help their
father in the business and Kenneth
will be attending school after the
holidays.

The official' opening of Huron-
view, an addition to the County
home at Clinton, will be held on
Friday, September 8th, at 2,30 p.m.
The Hon. Louis P. Cecile, QC.,
will officiate at this ceremony and
will cut the ribbon to declare the
wing officially opened. Others tak-
ing part in the ceremony will be:
J. Roy Adair, chairman of the
Huronview committee; Ivan For-
syth, warden; Charles MacNaugh-
ton, MPP; John Hanna, MPP;
Gordon Glover, acting on behalf of
the architects; Robert Fuller, act-
ing on behalf of the contractor.
N. Drew and L. Ludlow, of the
Department of Public Welfare, will
also take part in the ceremony.
Craig Peters, minister of the
Home, will officiate. Board mem-
bers and officials will be intro-
duced by John G. Berry, county
clerk-treasurer.
