Best man was Doug Whitfield of Gorrie and' the ushers were Tore Hastie, brother of the bride, To- ronto, and Alex Strong, brother of the groom, of HR. 1, Crorrie, The church parlors were suitably decorated for the reception with the bride's table centred with a three-tier wedding cake. Guests were present from Toronto, Lon don, Erindale, Stouffville, Kitch- oner, Milton, St. Thomas, Listowel, Wingham, Norwich, Guelph, Brus- sels, Bluevale and Wroxeter. The bride's mother received the guests, attired in a white and sea-, grass green ensemble with match- ing accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. Assisting her was the groom's mother, wearing figured silk organza over a pale blue sheath with matching acces- sories. Her corsage was also of pink carnations. For a wedding trip to northern points Mrs. Strong wore organza over an antique brown and maize silk sheath With a matching Susie Wong three-quarter length jacket featuring side slits and Mandarin collar.
