Funeral service was held from
the R. A. Currie & Sons funeral
home on Monday afternoon for
Charles Edward Congram, 13., R. 5,
Wingham, who passed away in
Weigh= General Hospital on July
11, following a long illness. Rev.
W. it Clark officiated, assisted by
John Congram,
The pallbearers were Ralph
Mumma Alexander Campbell, Milo
Cawmore, Robert Arbuckle, Harold
Adams and Donald McKenzie. Les-
lie, Cecil and Charles Congrain and
Ilugh bane carried the floral tri-
butes, Interment was in Dungannon
Cemetery,
A son of the late Thomas Con-
grem and Matilda Douglas, he was
born 72 years ago on the fourth
concession of Ashfield Township.
He married Ada Belle Elliott, of
West Wawanosh, on November 16,
191(1, who predeceased him in 1952.
The couple farmed oh the fourth
of Aehfield until 1930, when they
took up farming in East Wawan-
osh. They had two chillren, Harold,
of East Wawanosh, and Harvey, of
Kitchener, who survive, Mr. Con-
gram retired in 1952, but continued
to live on the farm with his son,
Harold.
He waS a member of Wingham
United Church and a Life Member
of Morningstar Lodge, A.F. & A.M.,
No. 309, Carlow, whose members
conducted a memorial service at
the funeral home on 'Sunday after-
noon.
Surviving besides his two eons
are 'three grandchildren and two
brothers, Wilfred, of Wingham,
and Gordon, of the fourth conces-
sion of Ashfield. A sister, Mrs. Roy
Risebrough, of Willowdale,
predeceased him in March, 1960.

WMS was held in the church par-
lors Thursday evening with the
Maine and Newbridge ladies as
their guests,
Mrs. K. Graham opened the meet-
ing with the poem "Those Who Live
for Themselves Are Soon Forgot-
ten", followed 'by a prayer for guid-
ance. Roll call was answered by
30 members and 20 visitors.
It was announced the Mission
Band picino would be held on July
22nd and the WMS and WA were
invited to attend. A get well card
