Mrs. Tom Armstrong and Mrs. Hilliard Jefferson were nominated to 'be the prayisional committee for "The United -Church Wornen". Susan Thompson'received the of- fering. After singing "Fight the Good 'Fight with All Thy Might" Mrs. Woods closed the meeting with prayer. • Ladies' Aid Mrs. Stuart Chamney opened the Ladies' Aid meeting with the hymn "Take My Life. and Let. It Be". A Psalm was read in unison. Mrs. James Leddy gave, a reading, Thought for the Day". Mrs. Hil- liard Jefferson gave the financial report. -.After singing "just As I AM: Without One Plea", • Mrs. Chainney cloSed the Meeting with all repeating the Lord's *prayer. A bazaar was held at'the close of the meeting in aid of the supply 'committee. Mrs. Sam Thompson was hostess for lunch, 'assisted by Mrs. Morley Johnston and Mrs. John Thompson.
