ings of the Woman's- Missionary
Society and the Woman's Associa-
tion of Knox United Church were
held on Wednesday with a gond at-
tendance. Mrs. Kenneth Wheeler
opened the W.A. meeting with an
Easter poem, prayer and a hymn.
Minutes were read by the secre-
tary, Mrs. Leslie Bon and the tree,-
surer, Mrs. .1. M. Coultes, in report
stated there was a balance an hand
of $360.81. A donation of $25.00
w•as made to the supply fund of fly'
W.M.S. and $15,00 to the choir for
expenses.

of Manitoba, for the Indian mis-
sions,
Miss Anna McDonald. of CKNX,
gave an informative talk on tele-
vision behind the scenes. In her
talk, she gave an entertaining ac-
count of the many problems one
faces in this field. Miss McDonald
also advised the ladies concerning
the type of clothinie to be worn
when one appears on the television
screen.
The meeting adjourned with the
act of consecration to the Blessed
Virgin Mary, after which lunch was

A very delicious lunch was serv-
ed by the hostess and it, was decid-

turkey dinner, the following week,
