Holstein Breeder
GORR,TE-Thomas William Hay-
den, 83, died April 25th, at his
honie on lot 14, eon. 1, Howlett
Township, following a short illness.
The son of the late William
Hayden and his wife Anne Herd-
man, he spent all his life in this
Community and was known as an
outstanding Holstein breeder. He
was a member of the IVIolesworth
Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife the form-
er Alberta Alexander, three sons,
George and 'Russell, of Howick
Township, Norman, of Coniston,
and three grandsons.
Rev. W. J. S. McClure, Moles-
worth Presbyterian Church, con-
ducted funeral services on Thurs-
day at 2 p.m., from the Moir
funeral home, Gorrie. Pallbearers
were George Timm, Ben. Gibson,
James Lynn, Oscar Felkar, Sam

REGULAR MEETING
WROXETER-The 'April meet-
ing of the Tuesday Starlight Group
was , held at the parsonage with
Mrs. 3. E. Clarke as hostess. The
.meeting opened with the singing
of the theme "Let the Beauty of
Jesus", followed by a poem, "How
Do I Know?" read by Mrs. C. Yeo-
Man, The ;hymn "What a Friend
We Have in Jesus" was sung and
Mrs, Yeoman real the Scripture.
Mrs. G. L. Dobson offered prayer,
concluding with the Lord's prayer
in nnison.
Mrs. Bruce Chambers prepared
and gave a very interesting topic,
"The ,Christian as an Individual".
The hymn "0 Master Let Me Walk
with Thee" was sung, followed by
an interesting and informative talk
on Jack Miner's bird sanctuary at

McMichael, presided for the busi-
ness) portion of the Meeting. The
minutes of the last Meeting Were
read by the secretary, Mrs. jack
Clarke. In the absence of the
treasurer, Mrs. Clarke WS° read

donation for the penny auction,

and one visitor.
