School and Sandra is employed as
clerk at the Gorrie bank, Winona
(Mrs. Sydney Thompson), the eld-
est, is a very busy girl indeed. She
is the mother of two glnall children,
Dennis and Lori, and also is the re-
ceptionist in the office of Lloyds

Held at Formosa
The CKNX employebs held a
staff party at the Formosa com-
munity centre last Tuesday night
when about 100 enjoyed an even-
ing's dancing,
Doug McGowan presented Ken
Carter with a farewell gift before
his departure for Halifax and Mr.
and Mrs. Ross Hamilton received a
'Wedding gift from the staff, a
white sheepskin rug and• a carving
set, Scott Reid made the presenta-
tion 'to Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton,
Bill Harris introduced new mem-
bers of the staff who have recently
joined the ranks at CKNX. Dave
Schulte is announcing and operat-
ing In the radio division, Larry
Taylor, of Toronto, is working in
the control room in television,
Wilfred Mink, of Owen Sound, has
joined the set department and Mrs.
Eleanor Murdock is on 'the switch-
board.
A smorgesbord lunch was served
by the Formosa ladies. Music for
dancing was supplied by the Mer-
sey Brothers.

sage on Exodus 12:1.28 "Trouble in
Christian Homes".
In this study it was pointed out
that three distinct responsibilities
are laid on the shoulders of
Christian parents. They must lead
their own children to the Lord;
then there is godliness and holiness
in the household. There must be
instruction in the home-it is God's
will that children be taught spirit-
ual truths by their parents, but
Christian parents must first be
instructed themselves. Without
Godly homes the church cannot be
healthy. With them, it is a shin-
