to Bluevale W.M.S. Thankoffering
on April' 7th, Mrs. Parrish Mof-
fat, of Langside, Presbyterial presi-
dent, is to be guest speaker, here,
at the Thankoffering meeting in
April. The meeting closed with
prayer.

The seed-cleaning plant is very
busy these days, but the loss of the
grist mill is a great inconvenience
to the local peoOle,
Mr. Arnold Gadke has been suf-
fering. from an attack of 'sciatica
for the past two weeks. •
We are happy to report that
Mrs. Emerson Ferguson, a patient
in the K-W Hospital at Kitchen,er,
has been able to return to her
home.

Mourned by Friends
Residents. of the Belmore area
Were shocked and deeply saddened
Rev. Mr. West, who was in his
59th year, was bornt,in gnglo.nd
and came to Canada as a. United
Church minister 1t years ago. He
Was pastor of the three-point
charge of Belmore, McIntosh and
livIlldmay United Churches for six
years, during which time he took
a very active part in community
affairs and made many friends. He
left Belmore in 1959 and at the
time of his passing was minister
at Palermo and Nelson.
Funeral services were held in
Nelson United Chu ,r,0 on March 7.
Surviving are his Wife, two sons,
Michael, of Georgetown, and Peter,
of Sault Ste. Marie, and one daugh-
ter, Mrs; John :(rean). Rutherford,
of TurnVerry, ToWnship.
A .Turnberry Township resident,
Addison Henry,,Fraser, died sud-
denly at his home on Monday ev-
ening, March 13.
A son of the late William Henry
and Margaret Louise Fraser, he
was born 58 years ago on Lot 21,
Con, 2, Morris Township. He
attended SS. No. 10 Morris and
Wingham High School and then
took up farming. For the past two
years Mr. Fraser had been a farm
implement serviceman, employed
by Charles Hodgins.
He was married in Wingham on
November 12, 1923 to Alice Godkin
of Turnberry Township„ He served
as assessor of Morris Township
for ten years, and was well-known
to many people in this area. He
was a member of the Presbyterian
Church.
Surviving besides his wife are
five chiughters, Eva (Mrs. Alan
Evans) Toronto, Miss Joan Fraser,
Pointe Au Basil, Nora (Mrs. Earl
Swan) Galt, Clara (Mrs, Ross
Lyle)' Bobeageon, Fay (Mrs. Gene
Teruya) Lethbridge, Alta.; four
Sons, James. of Barons, Alta., Wil-
liam of 'Listowel, Charles, Tavis-
tock and Donald and Gary at
Lucky Shamrock .

The special, which was a lucky
shamrock, went to Mrs. Stan Den-
nis.

Kee.
