Love's greatest gift Remem- brance. —Mrs. Elizabeth Faller; Herb and Peg. 15b WRAY—In loving memory a Min- nie Doubledee Wray, who passed away March 17th, 1960. One year has passed since that Sad day when our dear friend was called away. In years, gone by, when times were blue, She helped us all to weather through. She got great pleasure out of life while helping others, She was to us the best of mothers Her little smile, her 'cheery ways, With her we spent our happy days. As now we dawn another year Kind thoughts of her shine bright . and clear. —Sadly missed but lovingly re- membered by husband and family. 15* RITCHIE — In loving memory of Gordon Ritchie, who passed away March 19th, 1957. GALLAWAY — In loving memory of Oliver Gallaway, who passed away June 29th, 1950. They would not wish. for sorrow, They would not wish for tears, But just to be remembered Throughout the passing years. "Thy will be done" seems hard to Say, When two we loved have passed away, Some day, perhaps, we'll under- stand When we meet in •that better land. No one hears the door that opens When they •pass beyond the call, Soft as the dropping petals of a rose, One by one our loved ones fall, But the memory of each, loved one Like the fragrance of a6 rose, God sends to linger With us, Till our own life's door shall close, — Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by their wife, Ann, and family, Kenneth, Reita and George. 15b IVELSCJELLAN'EOUS PAINTING, PAPER - HANGING, PLASTER REPAIRS, low rates. The funeral was from All Saints' Anglican Church, Burks Falls, Saturday, Feb. 25th. Wingham Hospital (Continued from page One) meetings will be held before. recom- mendations are made to ,the Julie session of County Council. Mr. Cbusins said that building requirements of the hospitals in Huron would total an estimated $950,0 0 0 at the present time. Since it .1s 'feared thai ahla figure would increase in cases ,"where building projects have tai re delayed for any •length of time, 'itaais hoped that a Plan can be implemented whereby all the hospitals with ureant capital expenditure requirements will he able to secure funds as soon as pos, The need for more space in the local hospital has become more evi- dent than usual this winter. On several occasions there have , been upwards of 140 patients in care. The heapital a is rated for only 97 beds. Although no accurate figures are yet available it is expected that a second-storey addition over the present chronic patients' wing Would cost in the neighborhood of $350,000. Mr. MacLean pointed out that the Wingham Hospital is not likely to receive the normal proportion of grants from, aederal and provincial source's, since a new wing would of necessity .contain Several service rooms, such as operating, obstetri- cal, etc. The grant on' 'this type of expenditure • is on a • square foot basis rather than the $4,000 'which is paid for bed space. and does not • provide as. mach assistance la capital costs. Committee Reports The management committee also reported that a change had been made in the type of bread Supplied to the hospital by a local 'baker, and seems :to,, be meeting with ready acceptance from patients and staff. Chairman DeWitt Miller of the property committee said that the final shipment has been received for the re-furnishing of 10 wards.
